I've got wood for sheep!
An under appreciated quote I'd ever I heard one.
It takes on a whole new meaning when you take into account his talk of crossbreeding.

Might we see a woolly bully in the future

Re: Questions

You don't want raiding to be too easy or it will happen all the time and force everyone to do it.

So long as people with fortresses/ large armies etc are harder to raid it might stop it being too much of a problem.

Re: War Rules

I liked the take that you need to research battle spells and if you don't want sharp pointy things sticking out of your chest you need a unit of soldiers trained to help and protect the wizard/priest. The wizard/priest there for needs to spend time researching spells and the money and time that requ...

A useful wizard spell would be alchemy but you can produce a small amount of stone etc for building without access to the relevant terrain

Re: Topic: Armies too large

Yeah, that is my thought too. You need to be Fighter 10 to build the Training Grounds V, not use it. Does it have to be a fighter? Could you not have a different level needed for each class. A level 10 fighter could build a level five training ground but a level 10 wizard could only build a level 2...

Re: Likely World Area

That makes sense. The only power guilds had before the renaissance was the power of hoarding knowledge. Being a merchant in the dark ages was pretty terrible. It depends on if you just mean guilds or if you include banks and powerful families such as the Italian families. It also depends on if a gr...

Bats come from the Brecht book I think, they are the unique unit of the Vampire's realm.
They were in a few of the books including the vampires realm and some of the goblin realms if I remember correctly. Without looking it up was one of them urga zai with a bats unit?

Re: End of Game / Next Game?

If you want the option for all the different factions and races but with a new start you could always go for thaele and have there be something like a calling drawing people there. Seers and prophets all have visions of something in thaele and people go there to investigate. You have a mix of land w...

Re: Questions

Is the sees edge summit a free diplomacy action or a full action? Saemund would rather not waste a lot of time sticking his head into a nest of serpents when the decisions are ultimately to be made by others but as a free action I/he could give his view as a wizard.
