I'd definitely differentiate between arcane casting ability vs a wizard. A ranger has arcane casting ability, as do priests of a few deities.

The province owner can feel the magic of the land and know where it is being attacked/siphoned from to my understanding. Temple/Guild/Law holders have no visibility on it. Other source holders have enough connection to the Mebhaighal to tell where other opposing sources are in the province. They can...

For secondary+ generations I'd have a higher level requirement than 5...as it is, an academy and an adventure and it's a free blood point basically.

It seems to me that the goal should be to make self-occupation to be a high-cost desperation move and not the first choice for dealing with annoying individuals. So, why not just have it trigger an automatic rebellion? It's clearly a violation of the feudal oath to use soldiers against your own peo...

Self-occupation isn't the best idea to begin with. Usually other methods are pursued prior. How often has it been done in current game? On a side note, if making self-occupation worse for loyalty -- it should not impact loyalty as much if removing sources. The argument about temples, guilds, laws is...
