When it costs 50 GB to construct the building 5 GB/turn isn't that much of a bonus. Assuming average build of 1d6. It would take 14 turns to build and an additional 10 turns to make the money back. I brought up secondary resources more as an abstraction that would allow mines in different lands and not a resource to track. It would have been a way to generate some GB for guild based characters that end up in a forest or plains without access to hills/mountains. A dwarf guilder has an advantage...

Schools and Gymnasium - while I like the effect, rarely did anyone charge (or if they did it was easy to find someone else who did not or could cut a deal for going). Regents sending their children to school or gymnasium should have to pay a cost. It needn't be to the owner, but it should be .5 GB ...

Maybe combine library, alchemy lab, and academy into a single university for priest/wizard:

I think rogues should have a wharf or port that gave bonuses to sea trade but no bonus to building ships. This would be similar to the land trade route trading post that helped with land trade. Shipyards could be for fighters that want to build a large navy but have little impact on trade... asides ...

You don't know in advance. Could just scrap "mines" as a GB source, too, I guess. Or give them a "trade house" type building that allowed them to add distance to a chain trade route... and/or adds a virtual prov level for trade income effectively. So, +1GB/level but only if you also own 2 trade rou...
