Re: Likely World Area

I heard a story from my grandmother that when she was in south America she was out for a jog with her friend around the place they were staying and her friend stepping on a giant tarantuala by accident. the spider proceeded to just stand up and walk away after wards. There's also stories I've heard...

Re: Questions

Thinking about it a little more, I would add a GB generating building for each resource type... ie Quarry, Farm, and timber yard... Make them all like a mine and only usable by guilders...The dwarf guilder building mines in high mountains has a big advantage vs a human guilder that doesn't start nea...

Re: Questions

Maybe link the mine to a guild holding... for each level of mine a level of guild is needed. Not linking it to the class but the holding... So if the holding is transfered or taken the mine goes with it.

Re: Topic: Of Buildings

My suggestion is a system based on class level and research where blueprints are required. Each building would be assigned a DC. The DC of higher building levels would go up. Each class level would grant +2 per level to the research roll. Upto 5 GB could be spent to hire an expert NPC to help lower ...

Re: Likely World Area

I have some ideas, but not settled on anything. Not sure about deciding until the rule set is finalized.... And of course the two classes I was considering were the ones that I got the lowest stats in. Probably going to need to spend a few development points on stats.

Re: Topic: Demi Humans too good

I would like to see the academy removed and the focus placed on adventuring. Also add minor adventures as a court action and that granted a small amount of XP. (Something like 100 XP x average party level for each character.) I also feel that the find LT action should yield an LT of your class choic...

Re: Likely World Area

Sorry for being a little late to a discussion about resources. As a guilder last game I used resources as my main leverage to get into new domains. At the end of the game I had guilds in 8 different domains. I had networks setup providing all 4 resources to provinces in each of those domains. When g...

Re: The New Old Gods

Kragen had always considered himself a representative of the people. He tried to be the voice reason while advocating for the prosperity of all through commerce, trade, and development. The need to send so many sailors to their death defending against aggression saddened him. At the end of the activ...

Re: Topic: Demi Humans too good

I thought it was wrong that the turns when I did an adventure action with my LT I gained much less xp than the zero risk sitting around in an academy. When adventuring there is a risk of death. That risk should be rewarded with better XP. The war mercenary adventures were overpowered. There should b...

Re: Topic: Armies too large

Armies could also be more of an abstraction... Ie you just have a total army of a specific level and no more units... We are facing the balance between details and man power.
