I think it really would depend of the god in question. Is upholding law part of the domain of the deity? Then it would be concerned. Otherwise it is outside a deity's domain and they are unconcerned.

Hmm. But, if the priority is to make it feel like our characters/realms are living in a fleshed-out world, 'not spreadsheet' and to keep the RP going, then, logically, posting our own news posts would be the opposite of 'actively detrimental'. Yeah, in the real world we don't have Bless Land, but we isolate and try to limit the contagion with masks.

I do think elite units such as elves and dwarves should be more expensive
Now I don't know the entire map, but I doubt the difference in movement really matter, I don't think any land mass is large enough for it to make a huge difference.
