Re: Future game set-up concepts

The general idea of what people are like is heavily biased by personal experience and perspective though.

Re: Future game set-up concepts

Riva has a new goal since he became CE (due to card pull) to become the 'boogey-man' who haunts the realms and stories are told to people's children for them to behave or Riva will come and get them.

Re: Future game set-up concepts

We can all argue what we think someone's alignment is -- Juan is the final determiner of the alignment and whatnot. Since characters don't walk around with their alignment stamped on their forehead, I try to have my characters base their interactions solely on any observed or actual interactions wit...

Re: Warhammer Birthright Setting

Intent is to keep it as close to the system Juan has been refining as far as realm play.

I've got the Birthright BRCS 5.0 stuff, but it is a significant learning curve (200+ of rulebook) and extensive excel utilization required (very time intensive to validate formulas and whatnot).

Re: Future game set-up concepts

The lands of The Hunt were far more peaceful, advanced, and thriving than any other realm...and it wasn't even close. Riva took a trip away to contemplate what he had seen and on his return dedicated himself to Hircine as it was clear the beliefs of 'The Way' (previously Ishka) and Hircine were mor...

Re: Warhammer Birthright Setting

No worries -- and utilizing the info out there to provide the 'lore.'

The intent is a Birthright campaign (realms and bloodlines) set in the Old World. Awnsheghlien will be those afflicted by warpstone, etc.

Warhammer Birthright Setting

Hi everyone, I'm in the initial stages of setting up a Birthright campaign in the Old World of Warhammer. It will be a low-magic (Conan or Cthulu d20 style), grim and gritty style (ie low HPs, armor as damage reduction, etc) campaign setting. As there are a number of deities involved, if anyone is i...

Re: Future game set-up concepts

The isolation would have been a plus from Riva's view (less likely to ever make his mistake of being involved on the mainland again). The isolation OOCly was unintentional and undesired on my part, just had a lot going on with multiple surgeries and other things IRL. Figured it was better Riva took ...
