Re: Questions - Diaspora IV
That's not the point- I have the spell and someone else not. The point is frustrating to no end if we are messaging a plan in forum half the night based on written rules and after nearly 14 hours we get a new unwritten rule from Juan nobody knows which crashes all we have done. It's not that I have ...

Re: Questions - Diaspora IV
The process of learning the spell has nothing to do with spellbooks and materials according to phb. I asked because teaching, learning and describing spells are all different processes in phb. If this is a special rule it should be written somewhere- we have lost hours creating a plan from phb which...

Re: Questions - Diaspora IV
Juan , can you explain why? In phb it's written you can learn everywhere but not put into spellbook. If you forgot the spell after main adv, you should be able to use it inside the main still once per preparation?

Re: Questions - Diaspora IV
It takes a long time per spell (see above) so I don't think you will have time even for a 1lvl spell (1-2 days).

Re: Questions - Diaspora IV
For the materials and their preparation, the wizard must pay 50 gp per page. Traveling spell books, which are even more compact, cost 100 gp per page. Each spell requires a number of pages equal to its level plus 0-5 (1d6-1) additional pages. The actual number of pages a spell takes differs for each...

Re: Questions - Diaspora IV
From phb: Whenever a wizard discovers instructions for a spell he doesn't know, he can try to read and understand the instructions. The player must roll percentile dice. If the result is equal to or less than the percentage chance to learn a new spell (listed on Table 4), the character understands t...

Re: Using "Blood Failure" to enforce Agreements
Of course this can be colored by the god/priest you make your bloodoath with- a thieves god would perhaps allow such a deal for the seller giving him all responsibility, but the general requirement should be simple: everyone who knowingly does a oath will be punished if he breaks it by giving the go...

Re: Using "Blood Failure" to enforce Agreements
The reasoning logic is like this: If someone selling per investiture something without informing about valid blood oaths regarding the goods he himself break the oath knowing that the buyer will likely have to do so not knowing this before the decision to buy was done.

Re: Using "Blood Failure" to enforce Agreements
If it’s unclear who is responsible for giving correct information to the buyer about past agreements I would rule that the seller is obliged to Inform the buyer about every agreement or blood oath in place about the selling goods. If he does not he is responsible about every broken agreement from th...

Re: Using "Blood Failure" to enforce Agreements
If there is no written agreement about punishment there should be none in my opinion. A lot of players telling a lot of bull shit what are meant to be and what they are remembering. Only half of this is true sometimes. In addition ooc/ic are sometimes mixed or wrongly used, so for agreements in my o...
