Re: War Rules
Even when units are destroyed, most of the soldiers aren't actually killed. They flee the battle field, are wounded or captured. PCs of any level are more likely to escape than the average soldier. There already is a roll based upon number of units lost in a battle to determine if a PC that was pres...

Re: War Rules
Since ECL is averaged across all members in the party, it effectively is little to no impact. With 5 party members a +2 ECL increases the average by .4, which rounds down to no increase in party EPL. NWPs and blood abilities are tied to characters, similar to spell casting and they add to EPL, not E...

Re: War Rules
That is easier, and puts the onus on tracking on the players, although I would suggest +2 EPL, like blood abilities and NWPs. I would advocate for Priests to have a +1 EPL as well to simulate their battle magic.

Re: Questions
Well if that's Bronzebeards only experience, stories from ancient history. The question becomes where were they when orogs were fighting to preserve the human kingdoms against the hegemony? In the mountains fighting against the Hegemony, and the orogs, who where trying to drive us from our mountain...

Re: Questions
Playing Duran Bronzebeard, son of Brom, 1000 year old dwarf(longlife). So his opinion was heavily influenced by Brom. With Brom leading for as long as he did, Duran hasn't had a lot of chance to gain experience, but over a thousand years you do advance some. It was never clear who summoned the Orogs...

Re: War Rules
I vote for whatever is simplest for Juan to deal with battles. While hopefully this game won't have battles of the size as last, I suspect later in game there will be big battles. So the simpler the better.

Re: Questions
Orogs: Evil invaders from beyond this world, summoned by the evil Tyrant Arawn, who wish to slaughter us and take our mountain homes. What more do we need to know to defend ourselves and slaughter the evil monsters? I admit details of their anatomy comes in handy when hitting them. Gnolls on the oth...

Re: Likely World Area
I told you we were flaming gnolls. Pink Fuchsia for the Win this game! EDIT: We will be introducing Gnollish Tutu's for each Barbarian so that they have extra reason to rage. EDIT EDIT: I know I won't win, just wanted to say I was enthusiastic for having fun. Hmmm. I think I had the wrong definitio...
