Re: Likely World Area
Every race has a clear preferred start point. Just randomize(litterally, oh you're an elf, theres 12 forest provides, 1d12=you start there) let everyone start with a province 1 and maybe a very limited # of points.

Re: End of Game / Next Game?
1d3 summers resulted in 1 in 3 turns being summer, instead of 1 in 4. That = more growth.
I do like the idea of baronial size realms, like Diemed is 3 landed rulers, Aerenwe is 3, Rosoene is 2, OIT and ETN are each 2-3 temples, etc.
That way there's enough(small) realms for our players.

Re: Topic: Armies too large
Another idea is to NOT raise archers, levies, irregulars. Raise a level 1 army. Raise it to level 2. Add in some defense. Add in some offense. Raise it to level 3. Add more defense. Raise to level 4. ONE UNIT. ONE UNIT to track in birmail. Now maybe I also raise another level 1 army somewhere else. ...

I think there were too many units. For some of us, the limit was "how many troops can I safely quarter without attrition" rather then Gold or Training Tme. Remedies: 1. Increase gold cost of units to train and maintain 2. Further limit levies and irregulars so that bypassing 1 above by using crap un...

I had human heirs, but once I started mating with elves, I was all set on a multiclass heir. As was everyone else except the roleplaying "we hate half elves" people. They need a "nerf". Suggestions: Multiclass Nerf 1. Limiting it to 2 classes would help, as would the old rule of a fighter/thief gett...

Re: Questions
You are 100% correct there are no sources at sea, so no realm spells. I didn't use a realm spell. I in fact am unable to cast realm spells at all as a Bard. It was the power of my blood that let me enact that effect, akin to Shireen blasting Undead but different. I am The "Ally of All". I can attes...

Re: Questions
I suppose it was a good response to the "Fulgar gambit" of turn 1 last game.

Re: Questions
Next game needs more rounds of battle per war move. Naval battles don't take 3 months+. They happen over one or two days, with a few weeks perhaps of positioning before both sides commit to the fight. We should see sides disengaging during one warmove of battle probably as their defeat becomes inevi...
