Once upon a time..

Two creatures with an exceptionally stocky build march with purpose to their destination. A typical Karamhul, they stand 4 to 4 1/2 feet in height and are heavily armored. But there the resemblance ends. One is male, and marches towards the entrance of an underground complex in Barniere. The other is female, and walks through the streets of Ansien in Elinie, to meet with a local noble that has offered to hire her.

In Barniere, the trip below ground is a short one. The lair of whatever plagued the locals seems empty. The few clay constructs that guard the complex are dealt with rather quickly. And a quick scan of the rest of the complex, confirmed the Karamhul that the place was empty and devoid of life. So, on to the next mission..

To the west, the meeting with the noble was short. They did not have much gold to spare, or wasn't willing to part with it, but what they said spiked her interest. So she went in for the challenge instead of the meagre paycheck. Finding the Djinn ended up being way easier as expected, but defeating it turned out to be more complicated. The fight was challenging, but just before the Karamhul was able to deliver the striking blow, the vile creature summoned up a whirlwind and fled. But the time the Karamhul had recovered, the creature was long gone. And worse, a boatload of other 'adventurers' were looking for it..

The mission in Ruorkhe was barely even worth it. Finding the camp of the robbers was easy, and approaching it without them noticing even more so,as they weren't even trying to pay attention to their surroundings. The flying warhammer took out one of the humanoids, but by the time the Karamhul had started his axes on another, most of them were already running for their lives. A couple of minutes later, the few that chose to fight were lying on the ground bleeding freely.

"Again, nothing a hammer can't solve", he muttered collecting what little loot the bandits had gathered..

Deepshadow - Coeranys. The gray faced Karamhul had started the hunt on whatever the locals believe that was haunting them. While no one could have accused him of being discrete, his passing remained relatively unnoticed, as he chose not to interact that much with the local populace. Instead, he walked straight towards the west, in the direction of where these ancient ruins were rumored to be.

As it turned out, a local group of bandits had made profit of the superstition of the local populace by disguising themselves as some sort of otherworldly fey. Some tricks of a hedge wizard amongst the bandits ranks had only increased the unrest amongst the locals. They weren't few, but even with the magic tricks they didn't stand a chance against their assailant. Unlike their counterparts in Ruorkhe, these bandits believed they should stay and fight the lone Karamhul. A mistake they paid with there lives.

A local farmer that went to check the place a couple of days later, returned white as a ghast. The remains of the bloodbath that had taken place in those ruins, had obviously sickened him..

Word gets out that the Boulderbrew were in Baruk-Azhik. But besides confirmation that they went there to deal with the Orog, information is sparse, or non existing would be a better phrasing.

Obviously there is the minor fact that they were seen afterwards, and the undead orog were not..
