Raising your intelligence can increase your NWPs. Reading books can get you NWPs too, if you find them on random adventures.

I didn't see it in the rules, but I know we used the rule before. So, asking for clarification:
Are we using escalating costs for RP usage in actions? That is to say, increasing/decreasing difficulty of an action is 1 point per +/- 1, up to +/-5, 2 points per from 6-10, 3 points per from 11-15, etc?
