Yes if SAS did not get the extra gold and had no free ships that could be the reason.
SAS the key line for you to check is
Total GB In: XX + YY = ZZ
XX is holding and province income and YY is the trade route income. Check what your income from trade routes should be and see if it is 50% higher or not.

Ships mustbe asssigned to each?.. Imean, if I have a 3 GB and another 2 GB, should I add ships to both or the pool of trade is really used?

Should be assigned in advance.
I've typically had each trade route listed under a trade route thread, then update which ships are assigned to each. Usually I assign 2x the capacity (provided I'm not ship constrained) to ensure I'm covered for any province growth or gold rush impacts (lost out on too much gold one season when provinces all grew and got gold rushed and did not have enough shipping to carry anywhere near enough).

You need to assign ships to the trade route directly. It will tell you in the turn report under trade route if you dont have assigned enough capacity. What we are trying to figure out how the program is handeling Gold Rush.

The program increases the trade route value. If you don't have enough shipping capacity though, you do not receive the full value.

I don't think you need the ships for the gold rush trade boost, but I'dhave to double check. Not at PC right now.

That's a nice change if it is now in effect. Mhaellie lost out on a ton when she had limited shipping.

This seems to bear out what MM is saying ... the Nolien to Mhelliviene only had capacity for 2GB out of 4, but made 3GB.
It modifies the actual income from the route (as opposed to the max possible with full ship capacity), but does not require extra ships for the bonus income. You'll only lose out if you're already underserving the route ...

The number 14 GB was gained does not include the trade route bonus from gold rush. You have to manuly check the line Income gained:
There it says how much your Trade route make (1/3 of that should be the gold rush bonus). That 1/3 and the 14 GB are the real Gold rush income.
