Re: Questions - Diaspora IV
It follows the bloodline that is inhereted if I have understood it correctly. Otherwise long lived races who wont have heirs born ingame would not be able to benefit from it.

Re: Questions - Diaspora IV
It is gained by the heir (presumably a child, but not always) upon the transfer of the domain to the child (be it by death or direct investiture). The previous regent (if still alive) would lose the domain bonus stats.

Clarification
1) Bloodline inherited ability is the first ability gained by any child, so if you eg took longlife chosen, your kid will get it at maturity assuming they have a bloodline.
2) Stats follow domain; so your kids DO NOT get the d6/d4/etc, until they are the regent. They however did benefit from your higher stats when theirs were rolled
3) Yes, if you step down as ruler, you lose the stat-bonuses.
4) XP bonus: Gained when recruited as a LT.

Re: Questions - Diaspora IV
When you attack a province with a castle can you occupy the province if there is a castle there? Will the attacker get the defense bonus even if the castle is not destroyed yet?
And was the stats of the castles changed?

Re: Questions - Diaspora IV
Castle stats changed. You cannot occupy a fortified province, no. You can pillage such a province, and burn down buildings. But you cannot occupy it.

Can you add the numbers for castles to the list in rules-war-military units stats?

Ah found the castle stats. They are under rules-war-castle stats. But the old stats are still in use there. When you have time Juan update them.
