The effects of having a Seeming score is only relevant if/when you travel to the Spirit World, including with the use of Dimension Door, Teleport, etc.
This ‘gift’ is only for regents, right?
Its a gift as well, makes you able to change things by force of will at the Spirit World. Like making a mountain easier to climb, a pond to appear when you are thirsty, etc. Remember the Spirit World is just a mirror of urself. If u are slaved to the Shadow, it will bring only nightmares, if u are a wise, focused and balanced craeture, u have nothing to fear from it, u can actually enjoy such powers. Nothing to conquer the world, but to make urself comfortable, mostly.

For Seeming, check the handbook about birthright monsters, dont remmeber exactly the name (not the scions one, but 'normal' monsters)

It's not common knowledge, no. The Spirit World is dangerous enough that studying it at all is something most reputable mages avoid. And non-mages, other than halflings, can almost never go there (or come back!) regardless, so they can't and won't learn these things.

Of course, Mag is a halfling, and halflings are the only race that's from the Spirit World and of which every member can enter or leave it at will (barring powerful interventions), so there's that.

The sourcebook for The Seeming and similar is Blood Spawn.

If looking for the reference

Expect it to not be exactly as referenced, as the Spirit World is not (yet?) corrupted by the Shadow.

Maulok's Insight of Madness: Every time you meet a regent for the first time in turn 23, you gain Blood History on them, of the most traumatic event an ancestor of theirs went through. You both experience a memory from the other simultaneously.

Meet for the first time ever, or the first time this turn?
