Hi everyone,

I'm in the initial stages of setting up a Birthright campaign in the Old World of Warhammer.

It will be a low-magic (Conan or Cthulu d20 style), grim and gritty style (ie low HPs, armor as damage reduction, etc) campaign setting.

As there are a number of deities involved, if anyone is interested in helping to build out the religions from the setting (keeping in mind thematic scope of low magic), let me know via email please.

There are the old warhammer RPG, I assumed you looked into thatone? Should have the bases even if it needs to be translated to a different system.

Might not be low magic I suppose. Love the world, and after total war went there I guess a lot of people know of it. Its a rich world, with an insane amount of lore.

Heck, if one wanted to add bloodlines(not sure if you do) one could even make it plausible from the old ones getting destroyed. Be interesting to see where it ends up. My time is unfortunately quite limited:(

No worries -- and utilizing the info out there to provide the 'lore.'

The intent is a Birthright campaign (realms and bloodlines) set in the Old World. Awnsheghlien will be those afflicted by warpstone, etc.

Have you looked into Seeds of War and the app? If you go for low magic, then introducing Culture Holdings or Manor Holdings or some such might be an option.

Intent is to keep it as close to the system Juan has been refining as far as realm play.

I've got the Birthright BRCS 5.0 stuff, but it is a significant learning curve (200+ of rulebook) and extensive excel utilization required (very time intensive to validate formulas and whatnot).
