It is the Academy based in Dainn (controlled by TS/inheriter domain to AA), where you could have spent your formative years to have more XP and stats at start.

Will need to be researched, all base ship types (incl Caravel, Barge) are available at start as well.

Are these the correct equivalencies?

Gnoll marauders = cavalry?
Gnoll heavy marauders = knights?
Gnoll guard = elite infantry?
Gnoll scavengers = scouts?

Just for training/resource requirements

Gnolls don't ride, so they use endurance instead of riding skill for cavalry-equivalent units. Otherwise yes.

That's correct, their stats are the same, but they are not mounted units

Trade routes still need to be looked at, right? I was trying to figure out what I needed for a fleet to support my sea routes, and found trade routes belonging to others between provinces where only I had guilds.
