Are we starting in spring like we usually do? I will be planning an event for Fall.

Can I find any info about Hircine anywhere? Other than of course the stuff needed for priests. But it does not really tell about the organization, tenets and so on that the followers live under?

And I think someone mentioned a second Hircine church? Which is that? I'm not sure what each temple worships unless it specifies in the name. Life HoS is so nice to tell which deity I follow

UM / CH (Cold Harbour), the Orog branch of the faith, the original branch. The HoS broke off during the civil-war (see Game Wrap Up Events), forming a Sidhelien branch of the faith, with fairly radical views according to the background, on who ought to be worshiping Hircine (ie, Sidhelien).

The Church of Hircine is Chaotic Evil, the tenants are basically "Power, Strength, Individual" - Hircine's followers prize freedom as one of it's core principles, but that doesn't mean "everyone is free to do what they want, we defend other's rights to be free" but more "free to do what you are able to do, and suffer the consequences of what you try to do if someone stronger comes along."

The strong lead, and everyone benefits from having a strong leader. If you think your way is 'better' or 'stronger' demonstrate it. There were elements of meritocracy and tribalism strongly weaved throughout.

Those who were not as strong still valued as long as they were contributors to the strength of the tribe. Bolag's quote used to be something along the lines of 'strength is not just in the man who wields the spear, but also the one who forged it' (might be butchering that but the sentiment is there)

Slaves are just as much a hunter, as the ones who holds the spear

Though you probably shouldn't view Bolag as what followers of Hircine have to act like. I was purposefully pushing that CE didn't have to be insane and evil, and was not hedonistic, but rather driven by a belief that everyone needs to strive to being strong enough to seek out the goals you wanted. Individual Strength, leads to collective power. Not to protect those who are weaker, but to achieve greatness.

Agreed, the concept was about meritocracy and 'the tribe' in the abstract. The unit of cohesion is small, and should not extend far form the self.

But you could easily play up the hedonism, and the wild hunt aspects as a Sidhelien follower of Hircine.

Embracing the idea of Self-Reliance and the Wild Hunt. All followers of Hircine must hunt at least once per month and the kill is dedicated to Hircine, even if it is not normally their role in society. Stronger prey is more prestige. Intelligent prey is of course the best prey. Followers of Hircine will follow strong leaders, but will not hesitate to overthrow them if they believe themselves to be stronger. Hence the idea is that they pursue a path of constant improvement, in order to not one day end up being the prey.

Are we going to have granaries? If so, hopefully provinces that need them to sustain current levels will get them added in. Alternatively, we could hand-wave them since we’re not allowing province growth (only recovery). If we have them, though, espionage against them could be a powerful way to starve down your opponents’ cities.

Not that the TRT has enemies, nor would they ever do, condone, or even consider such an action.

Granaries exist in the background. If one ever becomes the target in war, espionage, raze... it will become relevant that they exist then.

Are the adventures in the events the only random adventures possible to do?
