Pauses when shit happends are to be expected and I don´t mind so much.
I am somewhat sad that both the pbem´s I´m in got pauses at the same time, but wth

I do more mobile gaming now. Lord of the Rings: Rise to War is not too pay to winny at least. And modern gamers use Discord. Forums are so 1995.

I use discord a lot, but for things where you both want individual areas and also want to save the information I prefer forums. Would be clunky in disc

There is a learning curve and some setup involved, but no less so than forums. Endorsement from me for what it's worth!
