"Chain Routes"
Rogue Class characters can 'Chain' Trade routes. They can Chain up to length Level / 3 (rounded UP). Eg, Level 4-6 = Chain of 2, Level 7-9 = Chain of 3.

So, Chain Length 2 means:
A -> B -> C
D -> E -> C

A&B: Resources from A/B/C
D&E: Resources from C/D/E
C: Resources from A/B/C/D/E

Chain Length 3 means:
A->B, B->C, C->D (A -> B -> C -> D)

All 4 have resources available from any of those provinces.
Should a Rogue 1-3 be better than nonRogues at trade? Maybe
Potential solution: the above +1 (effectively, the first link is free)

Drawback? Does it make trade "too easy" to bring all resources? It adds a fifth province effectively at level 7 instead of 10, so you can start having non-hyper efficient routing a bit earlier, basically.

I'm good either way. It doesn't get much more efficient than GTFO.

I would be very opposed to changing that. To me, it would be like saying anyone could cast low level realm spells.

And it happens, everyone have a Liutenant to cast spells, no one can do chain if not Regent rogue

?

Non-rogues still could not chain. Only rogue sorts can chain (just makes the rogue even better at it). Helps shorter-lived races most I'd think.

The point I think, is that a non-Rogue can bring resources back/forth in 2 provinces via a standard trade route.

To chain it beyond that, requires a Rogue. As it is currently, Rogues level 1-3 are effectively the same as a non-Rogue.

It may be worth noting that Rogue gets the faster XP chart, making level 4 obtainable faster.

A rogue building up their guild network will likely be 4th level by the time they are ready to chain trade routes anyways. If they are inheriting an established domain, they are likely leveled up from an academy and doing LT actions.

As is, this makes the level 7 rogue a serious asset extending existing chains.

Not many Academy's out there as yet...and limited classes for most of those.

Long-term certainly though.

As a non-rogue, the sooner resources get to provinces, the better. So the more links in a chain the better. This will become even more of a problem as secondary resources become needed.
