You will have to assume you don't know. That is why I had suggested originally to potentially use the counter-espionage pool against hidden holdings.

I have now flagged all hidden holdings as AAA, including all sources.

The flag and tribute method doesn't really work very well, too much tracking for me. I think the fact that you know some slots are used up by hidden people is probably okay

"Just have the income be 1 GB per level and say it is due to it being hidden that it does not get a full die roll."

That would make hidden holdings significantly more profitable than regular ones at every level.

.5GB would be more reasonable, though would still make a level 1 holding in a level 1 province more profitable hidden.

Nah, and it also adds the complication of not all holdings will generate RP for you, especially if you are already maxed out. Too much manual tracking.

You can have players with hidden holdings add a dice roll post to their turn submission thread. They would also indicate RP gained if eligible.

I think the AAA holding masking who owns it works well for now. And we continue to assume you don't know. I figured out how to make them actually invisible, I think. But it ridiculously makes them also semi-invisible in Birmail

It's just a flag - you still make the income, it just appears in every turn report as AAA
