Its not a nerf... Its suddenly being adjusted and made better mid game.

With the ruing before you could get 3 Ogres at L12(2 summon points per level and each ogre costing 8)

A mid game improvement to summoning to benefit high level wizards, after we find out wizards are bugged and get double XP seems like it is making things worse, not better doesn't it? Why dont we stick to the original and not make mid game changes to things unless it is to fix things which are broken? That would keep the playing field as even as possible (barring the invisible rules we could not have known helping a select few).
