20k is basing off Pyroneous. If you give this much to non wizards they get more bonus XP than even Pyroneous did. And the other wizards already benefited from the glitch same as Pyroneous so they all rose equally based on sources ruled. So they should get nothing more or it takes away Pyroneous’ sacrifices made in selling his holdings to focus on leveling completely void. You would need to average what all mages got extra and divide it by the number of mages and give that much to non wizards to be fair. No the only way to make it fair and clean is to have only the wizards figure out the extra they received and subtract it.

Why should the other wizards get any bonus XP at all as the glitch was there for them all? Just because one mage did more ruling is no reason for them to gain ground on him. And if you give XP based on Pyroneous only to non wizards then it is unfair to the other wizards who would get nothing. Best to just do the quick math I listed earlier and it makes it all even. There’s weren’t that many summons.

It's either do nothing, or do what Py suggested to sort it out.

Source_Levels - Turn 1 Source Levels (after any investiture/trades), *500 as the quickest and easiest fix.

Whatever you want to do Juan.

Clean up those cheating, yella-bellied, filthy, wizard varmints!

It's 500 per new level. If you just subtract the turn 1 source levels and multiply the number by 500, then two source 2s and one source 3 would both be considered worth 1000 XP, but the source 2s would have awarded 2000 XP (and extra XP) while the source 3 would have awarded 2500 XP (and extra XP)... assuming every rule action succeeded.

Since the reward increases with the source level, it's mildly complicated to figure out the size of the reward.

My vote is nothing.

Let the wizards have their heyday.

If Pyroneus wants a handicap to make is achievements legit, give him an actual dementia issue, shadow taint, or whatever you both think is an appropriate temporary debuff

Being venerable seems like a pretty serious debuff on its own. 100% chance of a death check every single turn (and -3 con to boot).

For example some other mage might have ruled 3/4 as many as Pyroneous while another might only have ruled 1/5 as many. Giving 20k to all but Pyroneous benefits the 3/4 ruling mage waaaay more than the 1/5 as much ruling mage. To give only non mages 20k also screws the mage who only ruled 1/5 as much as Pyroneous and to try and figure all that out with each mage would be more work than the above solution.

How is shadow taint a handicap? 😜
