Can each province have a shrine and is it limited to province lvl?

No, and no.

1 Shrine per player. Shrine can be up to size 10. Not related to province level, doesn't count as a building against cap.

Can we Raid/Espionage to destroy a level of Shrine? Invade and burn it down? Raze (spell)? Asking for a friend...

Strange that it was Rjurik and not goblins, then. Goblins were the only race unrepresented in the Great Bay region.

As a former Shadow - I can attest that the Shadow really hated humanity the most. Also - The Shadow created Goblins by stealing the Unseelie souls. How dare they be barred!

I think if you really don't want a domain, trading your starting settlers for say an extra blooded lieutenant of your preferred class, is reasonable.

Yes, you can do all those things to Shrines (destroy them as a normal building or fortification).

For the DMG items...will it be weighted against potions and scrolls...it can be disheartening to have your magic item be 5x Dust of Disappearance. Definitely ends up not being balanced across short or long-term.

Is the cathedral a building you have to choose and build? Dont understand the following. Can you explain it more?

Cathedral: Virtual Shrine and Temple Levels equal to (1/5 * Cathedral Level * Shrine/Temple Levels) rounded down
Free Agitate 1/Turn, up to Cathedral level provinces. No bonus to Agitates.

Birthright: Chimaeron
