To be honest, I want to somehow encourage people not to all amalgamate into a unity, and keep everything within strict boundaries. I'd rather sprawling guilder/templars that spread across multiple realms, but don't occupy slots in every province of those realms.
I think this will be VERY difficult to achieve. Cooperation = power. Action econ being what it is, forming a 3-4 regent power bloc is just so rewarded by the base game mechanics (and IRL politics) that it is hard to overcome. Sprawled out realms who arent fully cooperating will be eaten by those who do observe amalgamated unity within their strictly enforced borders. Tribalism trumps individualism.
Block player emails. No way to know who is who, and make it clear communicating is cheating. Once diplomatic relations have been established(via an action perhaps), then emails can be exchanged.

I'm fine with that. Nobody will know who is where or what is what without first finding a new person.

At start, you will not know where anyone except you are. Gradually you will gain more knowledge.

Will people be set randomly or will you consider classes in each area? Would be kinda bad if you had 5 Clerics next to each other and none on the other side of the map.

I will sort it by trying to arrange some sort of sensible groupings, to a degree. You will also start in your racial favored terrain. So if there is a large mountain range, and 6 people play dwarven Fighters, you might have a problem... but at the same time, the mountain range I am sure is next to a forest, and maybe a goblin priest, or elven guilder... etc.

And there will be "Random Adventure - Explore" again, of course, to find what is in adjacent provinces.

Humans live in tibet, they live in the deserts of arabia, they live in forests and in hills and plains. I think you've overdone the impact of terrain.

Perhaps. We could narrow the curve/make province level maxes higher in the lower options for each race. I do think there should still be preferenced for their better terrain in terms of DCs.

Instead of max pop you could have racial bonuses for ruling in those terrains

Shrine / New Gods
> Each CHARACTER has a shrine
No Court
Shrine 1-10, are distance you can impact realm
No Cap on Shrine Size by Province level; doesn't count as a building

Each shrine level costs 5RP

Cathedral: Virtual Shrine and Temple Levels equal to (1/5 * Cathedral Level * Shrine/Temple Levels) rounded down
Free Agitate 1/Turn, up to Cathedral level provinces. No bonus to Agitates.

Monolith: remove court / can store spell forever (until used, or supplanted by another spell)

Each char get's 2 buildings.

Everyone starts with 4 settlers, humans with 5. Everyone knows location of 1 province.

You know nothing beyond 1 province; you adventure/explore in a direction, if resolved, will reveal a province.

You need to accumulate Shrine-power to fuel faiths

10GB, 10RP
1 of: Blooded Lieutenant of your choice of class, 1 Settler, pick your starting Bloodline ability (rather than randomly rolled)*
1 of: 3 NWP*, or 2 WP*, or 6000 XP*, or Blooded Lieutenant (random class)
1 of: 4x Resources, or 4000 XP*, or 1d6 to a stat of your choice*
1 of: 2 NWP*, or 1d4 to a stat of your choice*
1 of: 2x Resources, 1 WP*, or 1d2 to a stat of your choice*, or 1 Lieutenant (unblooded)
1 of Artifact: (Class appropriate) Action Mod (+2), or 3x DMG Items (completely random on the d100 chart - can be scrolls/potions)
* inherited

All settlers are of your race (or if half-elf, human).

...Provisional things working on...
