Future game set-up concepts

I'm pacific time, so i'm asleep in the morning when it happens. I've also been busy trying to grow some guilds. one in ff14, and two small nations in a world building minecraft server, which is sort of like this now that i think about it. along with helping organize a new minecraft server

I got two weeks of working hard in my holidays for a good cause, my new gaming room..,). Repaired walls and added stone-like tiles, painted, bought an artisan made table and fixed the small troubles it had for gamers with a tv set on it so you can use rolld20 for games, with added plugs for anything we need like mobiles or tablets on the very table, another tv placed in a wall for seeing the stream platforms as well, along with wifi linked, repair lights, a nice sofa with an small table for beers, wine, soju or whatever, an small refrigerator for same purpose, along with some shelves for the miniatures, and now is a great place!. Funny thing is that was made by a worker with 73 years (my father in law) and myself..,). this weekend Im inaugurating the place with a nice rpg at Ravenloft..,)
Only thing Im considering to add is some led lights to the border of the table, as I am mostly blind..,)

Same, I've always wanted to do the TV built into the table thing, but always came up with excuses to put off the project.

I use a beamer for showing maps and combat and fantasy grounds unity for preparation and character creation. The tv table thing is to unwieldy, because the table is needed for food, drink and pen&paper or notebook. During corona times we no longer meet live but instead use fgu and a talk software like Skype to log D&D 5 and 3.5 edition.

freinds and i did it at my old dms place, we built the table with cup holders and little trays underneath

I've moving to foundry soon for gamed play and discord to chat

Yeah, Discord is a very good solution- we use it for loottables and diary of the role playing session, too
