Income, I cannot do directly. But could do an "upkeep penalty" based on domain size. Like, double domain-upkeep cost in winter-turns, and a -5 to all actions. Which probably means everyone just adventures all winter, which isn't the worst thing. Just need to update the adventure roller charts, to whatever new DC/income/item chart is used.

Each turn is 2 years (because it being 1 year itself was divorced from the seasons anyway), works too to speed up time a bit, without completely making Goblins/Gnolls unplayable.

Spring
d2-1 Summers (0-1)
Fall
d3 Winters (1-3)

Could give gnolls say, 20% extra xp, and give dwarfs/elves a 20% subtraction from xp maybe?

Not easy to program, though. In fact, I don't think it could be programmed.

Add/remove xp required to level on them be possible then, simular to different xp for different classes?

It would be resonable to offset age if gnolls leveled att 800 and elves/dwarfs on 1200 with humans on standard 1000

If you are looking to reduce gold further, consider an upkeep penalty for off class holdings. I really enjoyed in the Enothril campaigns that Guild domains could make more money than a state holder could.

Thieves/Guilders can chain trade routes for resources. Non-thief controlled trade is a terrible idea for 90% of the players. Doesn't mean they won't do it (Greed!) but it is a really bad game-strategy decision.

As mentioned in another thread, my biggest regret was not having a state guilder to do all muh trade routes.

That's why Daene was soooo happy when Bors came in and took that monkey off his back :)

I think its just when you have players work together super fast while other players are isolated or trying to sort things out it causes issues
