Oh yeah had some spy rings. That was fun. Plant spy is real fun but once everyone found out you can’t spy on private boards all the juicy stuff moved to those. Need to be able to spy on those too or that action is sort of useless now or at the least way too expensive to maybe get some emails in a single turn. By the time you have spare money to blow one factions are likely set and private boards are up.

Espionage actions can be used for a lot of things, not just intercepting messages. Spying on a private board seems just as reasonable as finding out the contents of a treaty that had been previously signed, or examining an army and its commanders. That's not really 'fluff discussion' though.

I got the sense other players believed Namel had spy rings around the world. I still don't know who gave them that idea.

Daene knew of several spy rings. Once he was aware of them he intentionally sent messages to confuse certain matters and otherwise screw with those particular players. Later on simply removed them from action.

Wszebora received it back in Turn 24 or so. Not sure why anyone had issues recognizing that (was in the turn report).
Camlann was 'DB' in Turn 24 report. It was 'DB (Occ: AAA)' in the Turn 25 report. It was WK in the turn 26 report.

It should have been WK in Turn 25 report. Was part of the Winterfest activities.

So, all this time, you thought Namel agitated in a province you didn't own, to overthrow the rule you didn't have, because you did what you refused to do?

And like I said, was received around Turn 24 or so. The 'or so' implies I am going off of memory as to which turn (and it occurs roughly around the turn indicated) without going through turn reports.

As far as agitate, also as I said, Daene tried hard to ignore Namel. The matter was with wszebora as the province was to be wszebora's. Namel wasn't a factor because she clearly made issues worse when involved (as well when not involved). Daene didn't want to just go and kill her, yet she definitely made it hard to not to want to just go and whack her.

Turn 24 was Winterfest, yes. So it was the agreed-upon time for the transfer, and that 'WK' should have been there in the Turn 24 report, first, not in the Turn 26 one. If it had been transferred at Winterfest, Namel would have been satisfied, since that was her only demand. Instead, DB refused, citing the escape clause. Namel agitated to take the province away from him next turn, so it could be given back to or taken back by WK. Which is what happened--she simply carried out the threat she'd made, and no more, until Daene seemed to come back with a second, renewed attempt to gain a foothold in Polska.

Rejecting Namel's demand to transfer the province at Winterfest, like he'd agreed to do, is what sealed it for Namel that Daene's words and motives could never be trusted, and that (combined with Arawn's probable lies, which by then she was inclined to believe) was the reason why she was willing to make any sacrifice to bring him down.

Again, to Daene, the only opinion which was taken into account was Wszebora's. Namel had burned too many bridges and Daene wasn't accepting demands from Namel.

The hardest part of the last five turns or so, was resisting the urge to follow through on his own promise to Namel about making the consequences come at her cost, not the cost of others. Executing Namel for being a pain in the ass and incredibly annoying didn't strike me as terribly NG -- that said, her invasion of Polska was the last straw and Daene (now as a free-roaming LT to Diarmuid) was going to be hunting her down and ensuring she was truly dead.
