If possible, I'd like to start in Roesone (always loved that country), but I'm good with doing a DP. I'm pretty flexible. Not sure what a DP is, in these contexts, but again, I'll be flexible.

DP stands for 'domain points'. You'd spend them after your starting location was determined. I don't know how we're going to determine them, but it sounds like we might be able to bid DP on them.

This would mean that if we had 10 DP, and two (or more) players both wanted to rule the same province, one would bid 1 DP on it (or more if they want to start strong), the next would bid more, and they'd escalate like that until all but the last bidder decide they'd rather keep their DP and relocate. Since bidding all their DP would mean they'd start with only one province, at level 0, with nothing in it, they'd have to be really committed to the idea to go all the way, so we probably wouldn't need a tiebreaker.

How did you choose the starting locations in the last campaing? Was it random if you where close to some other regents?

Can you choose a location where someone started?

Can you prohibit others from starting at your location?

Last campaign was assigned by dm. Uncertain if it was random or picked. We did not get to choose who we were close. We purchased an initial visible area(3, 6 or 9 provinces big), noone else was to start in your visible area.

I have a couple friends who have played in past games (non Juan) but got upset at d4=1 turns. Saw me talk about this game and saw 25+ turns and want to play next game.

I think were up to.. I dont remember how many turns EM did, but, EM+torova+magian+giantdowns+rjuvik +this.. we should be above 100 turns now?

Of those its just magian and thisone that havent finished fully.

Depending on how many players who want to play Juan should mark starting locations on the map. You then bid DP who chooses to place first and then maybee choose what race and class you want to play (to prevent an elv ending up in the mountain or a dwarv in heavy forest ).
