Arawn has a piece of artwork that Rhyel made for a Winterfest.

Are we descendants or are we a new set of characters?

The only two on strictly friendly terms it seems would be Rhyel and I?
Not really friendly, but SK and RL had agreed to form an alliance and ascend at the same time, in order to jointly oppose the Shadow.
That was certainly Rhyel's stated reason. In truth - I did not want Shireen down below to mess with things that would result from my ascension and to use her as a cover.

In no particular order...
1) Disrupting the ascension of Corben
2) Dealing with the fallout from Rhyel's method of ascension <--- Let some blame fall on Shireen the racist - you know she would do it!
3) Disrupt the "Llyrandor Elves" or "Rhyelves" (Goblins) from emerging (though IC I did not realize they were going to be goblins - I did realize it would be hugely disruptive to them)

As an aside: I knew who the Shadow Agents were. I had concocted a plan to stillbirth the Shadow during ascension - but I assume that did not occur.

It is kind of up to you, really. You CAN be a descendant if you want. Unless you are a Sidhelien, and maybe a Karamhul, you would only have a fog recollection of the "Time of Ascension" and certainly the myths of the Portal would be mythical-origin stories at this point.
You are looking at roughly +1000 years, give or take.

Sounds like it would be a good thing that not all my elves was worshiping you then ;)

Once some ascended, Arndir would propably end up Leaving the realm for his daughter, moving around working towards atempting ascencion on his own(unlikely to succede, but hey, not aging so got time;).

Yes, there will be wide ranging repercussions as will be detailed in the Common News/History of the world. Suffice to say, the Hegemony is the cause of your flight from Aduria.

Leoda's daughter is also the Husband of a God....... but was also maybe........ probably left behind in Svinik/Stjordvik 30(relative) years ago unless Valen happened to bring her with him?

Some of the long lived parties could still be around, as insane and high level people valiantly fighting against the Hegemony, or joining them, or doing their own thing wandering about.
