Seems like a bad idea. It'd essentially just allow a rich character to go to the engineers and say 'You cannae change the laws of physics... but we can!" while slapping his wizard pal on the back and spilling money everywhere. It'd also diminish the role of the most powerful wizard spell in the current rules. Finishing a build action in a single turn isn't that powerful, though, and the gap between that and making a high level building appear instantly is large, so it might be okay as a way to spill money.

There's already a spell which does it. Stronghold, which in several other iterations of this game has allowed for the building to be insta-made. It's expensive though, so great gold sink (and had significant source and RP requirements if I recall).

Stronghold's cheap compared to building the structure for real. 5 GB plus 45 RP for a level 5 building, assuming one NWP applies, and it lasts level+1 turns. The trick is somehow obtaining a level 7 source to cast it from...

Yes... CD in Taelshore literally massacred a province of Rjurik in order to get a source 7 to Stronghold a Lab...

This game, you might even theoretically be able to Permanency the Stronghold, too.
