I don't like the idea of an opulent world-class court with tutors, trainers, and huntsmen being better at personal combat than a group of adventurers who hold court in an inn common room. Seems to me the kowtowing and politics would negate any advantage. 'Why isn't MY son in your personal guard?' 'I miss the good old days...'

Or I copy/paste 4 versions of each unit --- HAHAHA... lol.

H = Hills
LM = Low Mountain
HM = High Mountain
HF = Heavy Forest

And just stick it at the front. Doable actually.

Yeah, I can do that relatively easily. Will probably do that. Then I just select which terrain/units to use.

... oh... HA and HD (Hills, Attacker vs Hills, Defender - for mounted) -- so another copy ... heh

'P' for plain on the rest? Or is it easier to just leave those unalphabetized?

What about fortifications? (Well, we don't need that answered yet.)

Some tweaks/updates. Just halflings (base) to add.
Modded the rg=X part so they are easier to find in the program (just how it works)

Do these units weaken as they take hits? Does ht=1 mean 1 hit?

Forts now simply stop attackers from moving forward, and offer no modification to battle? And allow you to host extra units above province level for attrition purposes, of course.

I don't think they modded battles in the original rules anyway, actually.

Yes, HT is number of hits.
Yes, they weaken as they take hits.


Well, this is more front-heavy. But the benefit is I click a button and battles are done. Levels of War... is tedious.

Can everyone (if you haven't already and maybe even if you have) post on their domain thread (a new post would be ideal), what starting units they have:

eg:
No military unit (+1 settler)
No Longship (+1 Resource)

or

Infantry
Longship

etc
