Questions - Diaspora IV
Re: Questions - Diaspora IV
Actually, I like your interpretation better. If you roll negative, you are trying to add stones to the bag.

And each stone represents a price you have to pay, so extra stones in the bag means... prices you wouldn't have had to pay anyway, but now doubly don't have to pay..? Or maybe you already had to pay them (whether you knew it or not) and now don't anymore.

Or since Apollyon reached Tier V due to actions in Turn 23, one could delay picking a stone until Turn 24 (no Maulok impact then) when it would actually be able to be listed in their turn and adjudicated/planned for.

Re: Questions - Diaspora IV
You can opt to not super-gamble, and take the first stone in your Turn 24.
Note that all potential outcomes were accounted for, in the fine print of the contract that you never read.

Oh, no. I'm making another error. The 1d4 isn't the number of stones you draw from the bag, it's the colour of the stone you draw. So, there's normally four colours, 1 is red. The other colours are unknown (and possibly irrelevant), but 0, -1, -2, 5, 6, and 7 would be stones of other, unanticipated colours.

I feel like I somehow understand even less. I do not understand how drawing in Turn 23 will be resolved at all. Can you explain it to me like I am 5 please Juan?

Re: Questions - Diaspora IV
Unless the negatives just don't represent stones with colours at all... oh dear. That would mean -1 would be the opposite of a red stone.

To save the hassle
I am updating the event.
It starts in Turn 24

(though, I think I misinterpreted the Maulok Blessing above anyway: it clearly said rolling dice for "actions" -- a blessing isn't in fact an action)
