So humans die off or no births? Can long life save you? What about human gods? Just seeing if there no reason not to pull from the deck.

Yes, Gaia has. A God assuming the role of Life is not the same as the Lifeforce, though.

There are 7 human cities, that is basically all that remains for human provinces.
Redrew a few borders, rejigged some things. More things likely to change.
The Blueish old-human lands in the middle is "Wastelands." The Halflings would have completed their migrations to the Spirit land already, as well.
Narrative between games would explain a lot of what happened, which will be as much about creating some points of conflict/balance than it is necessarily about organic results, though it would of course attempt to be mostly rational.

In either setting, there would be no possibility for ruling provinces, except/unless a province had dropped in level due to plague or war, then rule province could be used to restore levels.
